I’ve been using Twitter for years, but I think I’m going to start to think more about it.
The thing is, when you’ve got the big five of Google, Facebook, Amazon and Twitter, they’re all doing it really well.
You don’t see a lot of overlap in how they work.
You’ve got Facebook, you’ve had a great year, you’re on Twitter, Twitter is working on a new product, and then you’ve just got Twitter on Facebook.
But, you know, in the end, I don’t think there’s any overlap in terms of what they’re doing, or where they’re trying to go with their business.
So, I think there are two sides to the coin here.
One side, it’s about building the brand.
It’s about marketing the product.
It makes sense to me that Twitter would want to be the big 5, and Amazon and Facebook and Google want to work with the big four.
But the other side of the coin is, I’ve had some really good interactions with people who have said, “Hey, we were looking at Twitter, but we had an idea for what we were doing.”
And they’d say, “I don’t know, I was looking at Facebook and Twitter.”
So, they don’t understand the business.
They don’t get it.
And that’s a big deal.
So when I talk to people about this, they say, I just didn’t think you could build a company that could compete with Google, because they’re going to do everything they do.
It seems like you can’t do that.
So I want to understand the problems, the challenges, and how to deal with them, because you can build a great business, and that’s the way to build a sustainable business, but you can only do that when you’re really building the business around it.
I just think it’s an amazing thing to be able to talk about.
